Ann Ventricelli, 81, Fairfield School Cafeteria Aide

Born July 7, 1931, in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Angelo and Pauline Marchi Turrini. She grew up in Bridgeport and moved to Fairfield after marrying Ralph Anthony Ventricelli.

She worked at Tomlinson Middle School in Fairfield in the cafeteria for many years. Her happiest moments were spending time with her family. She enjoyed her exercise classes, bowling, trips to the casino and spending time crocheting blankets for the VA Hospital.

Ventricelli is survived by two sons, Ralph (Sheri) Ventricelli, of Milford, Conn., and Anthony Ventricelli, of Fairfield; three sisters, Rita Campbell, of Bridgeport, Mary (John) Baksa, of Wallingford, Conn., and Joanne (Marty) Kanawall, of Fairfield; two sisters-in-law, Mary Turrini, of Fairfield, and Marlene Turrini, of Milford; and three grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband; two brothers, Ernest Turrini and Angelo Turrini; a brother-in-law, Raymond Campbell; a nephew and a niece.

Funeral services were Monday at Spear-Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield and St. Thomas Church in Fairfield.
