The Feasterville Fire Company responded to a crash on Philmont Avenue around 9:30 p.m., officials said.
The driver had escaped the car by the time first responders arrived, but the wreckage was in flames, FFC said.
Two hose lines and firefighting foam were used to knock down the fire. No injuries were reported.
Philmont Avenue remained closed from Street Road to Dolton Avenue while PECO worked to restore power, the department said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 26, fewer than five customers are without power and a crew has been dispatched to the scene, according to PECO's outage tracker.
