NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The fallout from top APA comedy touring agent Mike Berkowitz’s jump to rival WME continues as the agency adds five more former APA alumni to their ranks.
Former APA agents Marcus Levy, Amy Lynch, and Andrew Russell have all transitioned to WME, where they will join the agency’s comedy touring team.
Also making the jump to WME are agents Danielle Esparza and Tommy Pucciani, as well as APA’s marketing director Jillian Doyle and the agency’s financial director Cara Nordberg.
While at APA, Levy handled bookings for a range of clients, including Chris Gethard and Francis Ellis. Lynch played a key role in major arena and theater tours for comedy clients, including John Cleese & Eric Idle, Archer Live and Theresa Caputo.
Andrew Russell oversaw APA’s college comedy business as well as dealmaking for stand-up specials for conventional cable, and the increasingly important world of streaming services. His roster includes Chris D’Elia, ToM Segura, Craig Robinson and Brent Morin.
Jillian Doyle and Cara Nordberg will continue to focus on their areas of expertise in marketing and finances, respectively.
