MK11 Forge Recipes - Mortal Kombat 11 Crafting Guide

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Crafting is a new feature in Mortal Kombat 11. Using the forge, you can combine certain items to get other, more useful items. This includes keys and tower consumables. Before you can craft an item, you need to learn the recipe. It’s all a bit muddled – a lot of stuff still hasn’t been figured out, but we’ll collate what we know in our Mortal Kombat 11 crafting guide, along with a list of MK11 forge recipes.

How crafting works in MK11

Crafting is done through the forge, which is in the Krypt, south of the Courtyard. You’ll unlock it pretty early on, and with you interact with it, you’ll see a list of all the crafting ingredients you own, and the three slots you can place them in. You’ll notice there are no recipes available here, even if you’ve unlocked them.

The recipes themselves are listed in the Kollection screen, accessible from the Kustomize menu. They don’t show the names of the ingredients, but they do show icons. You can compare those to what you’ve got in your inventory easily. To get the recipes themselves, you’ll have to do what you do for pretty much any item in the game – play Tower of Time, explore the Krypt and play around with the Shrine.

The recipes will only show you two out of the three ingredients required, and you have to experiment in order to discover the last one. If you choose the wrong one and fail the forging attempt, you won’t lose the materials – only the money. Here are the recipes we’ve seen so far:
