Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE Has A Record-Setting September

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE had a record-setting month in September, hosting 11 shows that marked the venue’s highest grossing month since its opening in October 2007.

Among the shows at the Nokia Theatre in September were three sold-out shows by Latin pop star Marc Anthony; three sold-out performances by Mexican crooner Juan Gabriel and two performances by Mexican artist and multi Latin Grammy Award winner Marco Antonio Solis.

In addition to the Latin content the Nokia hosted the third year of 93.5 KDAY’s Fresh Fest, Brazilian singer Roberto Carlos, The Soul Jam featuring The Stylistics and The Dramatics, another sold-out performance by performer and composer Yanni, marking his fourth gig at the theatre since its opening, and the month closed out with popular Armenian singer Tata.

The venue said that the three concert runs by Marc Anthony and Juan Gabriel set records for the top grossing three-run shows in the history of Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. Nokia Theatre had a total gross for the month of September that reached over $8.5 million and sold over 76,300 tickets
