The position would include supervising 14 laborers and one full-time Administrative Assistant.
The successful candidate would be responsible for planning, coordinating and overall administration of Streets, trees, sewers, fleet and public building maintenance.
Purchasing, budgeting and capital project oversight skills are also required.
Communication skills are needed, as well, to interact with residents, staff, administration and governing body.
All applicants must have NJ CPWM and Recycling Coordinator certifications and five years experience in an administrative capacity in DPW.
A bachelor's degree and or engineering background is preferred. Possession of C-2 Sewer License is a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
