Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Somerset County are providing new details about an overnight shooting that left one man injured.
Somerset Borough Police Chief Randy Cox says that the victim, a Lancaster man, was reportedly shot, twice, outside the Holiday Inn Express.
Investigators say the victim was found outside the front door of the hotel, around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to the victim, police say he was reportedly standing outside by his vehicle when a black Jeep pulled up.
Police say a Hispanic male reportedly began confronting the victim before firing two shots at him from a handgun.
Authorities say the victim was reportedly shot in both thighs.
Chief Cox says the victim was transported to Conemaugh Hospital and has since been released.
Police have not yet released any information regarding the suspect in the shooting.

Authorities say a man was shot in both legs in Somerset county overnight.
Details are limited at this time, but county dispatch tells 6 News that emergency crews were called out around 1:30 a.m. for a gunshot wound in Somerset Borough.
They say when police arrived on scene they found a man who had been shot once in the upper part of each leg.
Somerset Borough police are investigating.
