Virgin Mobile's Free Fest Lineup Announced

WASHNGTON, D.C. (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Virgin Group's CEO Richard Branson has announced lineup for the Virgin Mobile FreeFest, set this year for September 25th, with sponsors Kyocera and produced by Seth Hurwitz' IMP Productions.

Like last year, the one-day festival will be staged at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and features two stages of performers, including M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem, Pavement, T.I., Ludacris, Joan Jett, Thievery Corporation, Matt & Kim, Jimmy Eat World, The Tender Trap, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Yaesayer, Dance Forest, Chromeo, Sleigh Bells, Die Antword, Modeselektor and Neon Indian.

The festival will also feature a 'dance forest', replete with a special second line march from stage to stage with New Orleans legend Trombone Shorty.

The event will be free and become to the general public on Ticketfly.com on July 24th. Virgin Mobile customers and previous Virgin Mobile Festival ticket holders from the past four years will be invited via to obtain tickets to the event via text message and email on Friday, July 23.
